Emmanuelle is a Swiss and French multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer whose music blends contemporary sounds, improvisation and groove. She trained in jazz saxophone at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne (HEMU) and holds a Master’s degree in Music Pedagogy as well as a CAS in Jaques-Dalcroze Pedagogy from the Haute École de Musique de Genève (HEM). She has played with jazz, salsa and boogaloo ensembles while composing and performing music for theatre, including for Théâtre Spirale in Geneva.

After picking up the bass, she initiated the project that became Leanor Wolf, where her instrument, songwriting and vocals take centre stage. Her voice (as Leanor Wolf) is featured on Letters From the Atlantic (2025), an album by the acclaimed American jazz-funk band Butcher Brown. She draws on her musical training to shape the duo’s electronic sound.

She is a primary school music teacher for the Geneva public school system (DIP) and a registered independent artist in France. In 2024 she founded La Tanière, a non-profit association in Geneva. She is a member of SONART and the FGMC, professional organisations that defend musicians’ interests, in Switzerland and in Geneva respectively, and advocate fair pay and working conditions.

He has performed at the Paléo, Montreux Jazz, Cully Jazz, Label Suisse, MTN Bushfire, Jazz in Marciac, Rototom Sunsplash and SunSka festivals, as well as at La Bellevilloise. With the support of Pro Helvetia, he toured five countries in sub-Saharan Africa in 2017 on the SADC Tour, and has also played from China to Peru and New York. Between 2023 and 2026, he signed “Watch Me” and “Crunk” to Trax Records, and “Unhinged” (featured on the vinyl compilation Jackmaster 9) to DJ International Records, two historic Chicago house labels.

A rapper at heart, he founded his sole proprietorship (entreprise individuelle, EI), The Wolf Den Studios, in France, expanding his work into production, mixing, mastering and visual media, with a focus on Leanor Wolf.

Together, they continue to write and perform, bringing their complementary musical voices to a shared electronic identity.
